Afsy Kafei

Afsy Kafei is a skilled professional specializing in development communications and public engagement within the cultural heritage sector. Currently serving as the Manager of Development Communications at the National Trust for Historic Preservation since April 2022, Afsy previously contributed to the World Monuments Fund as a Public Engagement Associate, where responsibilities included overseeing global communications for over 90 international projects. Experience encompasses a series of educational and outreach roles focusing on architectural history and preservation, including leadership positions at the Victorian Society New York, Greenwich Village Society for Historic Preservation, and Art Deco Society of New York. Afsy holds a Master of Science in Historic Preservation and Conservation from Pratt Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the University of Central Florida.
