Kim Dedam is an experienced journalist and writer with a diverse background in reporting, editing, and content creation. Currently self-employed as a freelance news reporter and writer since July 2016, Dedam focuses on photography and feature stories that highlight rural life, also contributing to Sun Community News local papers. A staff writer for the Press Republican since 2006, Dedam transitioned to the Lake Placid Bureau in 2007. Previous roles include reporting for the Rutland Herald in 2005, serving as a staff editor for Denton Publications from 2001 to 2004, working as a medical writer for Dorland, Sweeney, from 1998 to 2001, and copy editing for Houghton Mifflin and Commanday Publishing from 1996 to 2001. Kim Dedam holds a BA in English and Philosophy from Mount Holyoke College.
