Aileen Galvin has a diverse work experience in the arts, culture, and hospitality sectors. Aileen is currently the Joint Managing Director at Sync & Swim, where they provide strategic marketing and partnership consulting services to various cultural institutions and organizations in Ireland. Aileen has also worked as the Art Curation Lead for the Press Up Hospitality Group, overseeing the management and installation of over 1,000 artworks by Irish artists for hotels. Aileen has served as a Marketing Consultant for Landmark Productions and MoLI – Museum of Literature Ireland, working on projects such as the Ulysses 2.2 collaboration and marketing for the Carlow Arts Festival. Additionally, Aileen has held leadership positions at St. Patrick's Festival, including Director of Public Engagement & Strategy and Marketing & Communications Director. Aileen is currently involved in a marketing, publicity, and partnerships role at Music for Galway and has worked as a Brand Development & Marketing Consultant at County Arms.
Aileen Galvin received their Leaving Certificate from Cnoc na Labhras in Limerick in 1991. From 1991 to 1995, they pursued a BA (Hons) in Design, Visual Communications at Limerick Institute of Technology. Aileen then attended the Institute of Commercial Management in Limerick from 1995 to 1996, where they obtained a degree in Public Relations with Distinction, specializing in Public Relations, Marketing, and Advertising.
