Simona Yash

Simona Yash is an experienced Occupational Therapist currently working at Djerriwarrh Health Services since March 2018 and also serves as a Personal Care Assistant at Prestige Inhome Care since May 2016. With a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy from Deakin University, Simona has a strong background in supporting individuals, including the elderly and those with disabilities, to live independently. Key responsibilities include supporting community access, providing personal care, and facilitating activities of daily living. Previous experience includes placements at Barwon Health, where Simona developed clinical tools and was involved in rehabilitation programs, as well as assisting the Australian Para Athletics team during the World Para Athletics Championship in 2017. Demonstrated skills include excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to create meaningful engagement through tailored activities.
