Leslie Amella

Leslie Amella has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Leslie started their career as an HR Recruiting Coordinator at J.P. Morgan in 1994. Leslie then worked as an Assistant at Oxford Health Plans, where they handled various tasks related to client management and sales analysis. From 2000 to 2002, they served as a Project Coordinator at Gentiva Health Services, focusing on corporate procurement. In 2002, Leslie joined Marchon Eyewear as an Assistant to the Vice President of Finance and Controller. Leslie prepared financial reports and managed daily cash flow. From 2003 to 2016, Leslie had various roles at Cablevision, including HR Generalist, HR Associate, HR Administrator, Administrative Supervisor, HR Associate - Leave Management, and Recruiter. Their responsibilities included data analysis, employee engagement projects, and recruiting within a call center environment. Since 2016, they have been working at PrestigePEO, first as a Human Resources Business Partner, then as a Supervisor of Internal HR, and currently as an Associate Director of Internal HR. In their current role, they manage all day-to-day department responsibilities and leads the recruitment function. Overall, Leslie has extensive experience in HR, recruitment, employee engagement, and finance.

Leslie Amella has an Associate's degree in Fashion Merchandising from Dean College and a Bachelor's degree in Communications from the University of Hartford. Additionally, they have obtained a certification as a Talent Optimizer from The Predictive Index in 2023.
