Chief Design Engineer at Prestolite Electric Incorporated

Robert Hall has extensive experience in the field of electric motor design and development. Robert began their career at Prestolite Electric Inc. in 1978 as a Design Engineer for DC electric motors and advanced to the role of Sr. Design Engineer, overseeing new product development for various product lines. Robert then joined Johnson Electric (previously United Technologies) in 1992 as a Sr. Engineer, specializing in automotive PM DC accessory motors, and eventually became a Principal Engineer, responsible for new product development across all product divisions. In 2007, they returned to Prestolite Electric Inc. as the Chief Design Engineer, focusing on the design, development, and launch of DC alternator and starter motors for various applications, including truck, heavy-duty truck, commercial, off-road, and military vehicles. Throughout their career, Robert has been involved in the development of multiple new product platforms aimed at reducing cost, increasing output, improving operating temperature, and decreasing size and weight.

Robert Hall attended The University of Toledo from 1971 to 1976, where they pursued a BSEE degree in Electronic Design.
