Katherine Nye

Katherine Nye has extensive work experience in the legal field. Katherine currently holds the position of Director & Legal Counsel at Selene Finance LP since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as Vice President & Legal Counsel at Pretium Partners, LLC starting in April 2019. Nye also served as In-House Counsel at Utepils Brewing Co starting in September 2018. Katherine'searlier experience includes working as Associate Counsel at ResCap Liquidating Trust (successor to Residential Capital, LLC) from May 2012 to October 2018, and as Associate Counsel at Residential Capital, LLC from November 2004 to May 2012. Additionally, they were a Law Clerk and Compliance Assistant at Residential Funding Company, a subsidiary of Residential Capital, LLC, from January 2003 to October 2004 and from February 1998 to January 2003, respectively. Throughout their career, Nye has been involved in various legal roles, managing litigation, advising on wind-down processes, and overseeing the resolution of creditor claims.

Katherine Nye earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice & Psychology from the University of St. Thomas between 1994 and 1998. Later, they attended the Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. In October 2004, they were admitted to the Minnesota Bar.
