Ahmed Gamil

Ahmed Gamil is an experienced electrical engineer currently working as an Electrical Engineer at Prevas AB and as a Senior Electrical Design Engineer at ABB since January 2023. Responsibilities include the preparation of electrical design and integration for container cranes, focusing on driveline, automation equipment, and MV and LV switchgears, while ensuring project deliverables are completed on time and within budget. Previous roles include Electrical Technical Office Engineer at ECS - Energy and Contracting Solutions and Project Engineer at Modernlite Technology, along with a trainee position at Alguziera for Construction and Project Management. Ahmed Gamil received a Master’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Uppsala University in November 2022 and holds a degree in Electrical Power and Control Engineering from Benha University, completed in 2017. Additional training includes a session on KNX systems in Building Automation sponsored by Schneider Electric.
