Joseph Karau

Joseph Karau has a strong background in software engineering, with over 20 years of experience. Joseph started their career in the United States Army Reserve as a Combat Engineer Specialist from 1995 to 2001. Joseph then worked at Kingland Systems from 2000 to 2006, starting as a full stack engineer and later becoming a team lead and architect for Java-based web applications. Joseph joined SPSS in 2006 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they initially worked on a Swing-based desktop application and later became the team lead and architect for a suite of applications written in COM C++ and .NET. Joseph joined IBM in 2009 and worked in various roles, including Senior Software Engineer, Scrum Master, Technical Lead, and Architect. Most recently, Joseph has been working at Preventice Solutions as a Senior Software Engineer since 2018.

Joseph Karau earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Information Science from Minnesota State University, Mankato. Joseph attended the university from 1996 to 2000.
