Alin Posorovaschi

Alin Posorovaschi has worked in the software engineering industry since 2010. In 2010, they held a part-time student position at Continental Automotive Romania SRL, where they worked on developing an automotive on-board navigation system in Java. Alin then moved to ACI Worldwide in 2011 as an Associate Software Engineer. In 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at Three Pillar Global, where they were responsible for Object Oriented Analysis and Design, development, unit and integration testing of backend business components and web services. In 2013, they joined Workday as a Software Development Engineer, where they worked on adding new features to the Messaging Service, Service Discovery and was part of the team that built the Logging Service. In 2015, they joined [e-spres-oh] as a Team Leader and Java Developer, where they worked on a back-office application and a Geographical Information System (GIS) project. In 2016, they moved to Ness Digital Engineering as a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Software Developer, where they built Java 8 Spring Boot and AWS Lambda microservices and a big data project. In 2018, they worked as a Technical Consultant at OnTheMarket. In 2020, they joined TheLadders.com as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for designing new services and modules to support Ladder’s newsletter, transactional and campaign email needs. In 2021, they moved to The Hyde Group as a Consultant/Kafka Streaming Engineer, where they designed, implemented and tested Kafka Streaming solutions for migrating Hyde's on premise finance system to Workday, and interconnecting finance with other systems. Alin is currently working at Previse as a Consultant/Clojure Software Engineer, where they are responsible for AWS Stack: EKS, RDS, S3 and AWS Lambda, and Dev stack: Clojure, Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform.

Alin Posorovaschi obtained a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from the "Politehnica" University from Timisoara between 2007 and 2011. Since then, they have obtained several certifications, including a Building Containerized Applications on AWS certification from Coursera in June 2020, a Neural Networks and Deep Learning certification from Coursera in June 2020, a Building Resilient Streaming Analytics Systems on GCP certification from Coursera in May 2020, a Building Batch Data Pipelines on GCP certification from Coursera in May 2020, a Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals certification from Coursera in May 2020, a Modernizing Data Lakes and Data Warehouses with GCP certification from Coursera in May 2020, a Hadoop Administration - Level 1 certification from IBM in March 2017, a Hadoop Data Access - Level 1 certification from IBM in March 2017, a Machine Learning certification from Coursera Course Certificates in February 2017, a Spark - Level 1 certification from IBM in February 2017, a Spark - Level 2 certification from IBM in February 2017, an Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1 certification from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2015, a Principles of Reactive Programming certification from Coursera Course Certificates in December 2013, a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera in November 2012, and an Oracle Certified Professional, Java SE 6 Programmer certification from Oracle in May 2012.
