Javier Martinez

Javier Martinez, LMSW, has extensive experience in social work and psychotherapy, currently serving as a Psychotherapist at the Puerto Rican Family Institute and a School Social Worker at KIPP NYC since 2013. Previously, Javier worked as a Case Manager at the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, where responsibilities included client interviews and assessments related to homelessness and mental health concerns. Additional roles included providing treatment to children and families through the Friends and SEEK programs and serving as a School Social Worker with the NYC Department of Education. Javier holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from the City University of New York City College, a Master of Social Work from Fordham University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The City College of New York.
