Joshua Smith

Joshua Smith has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Joshua is currently the Co-Founder and COO of Pricesmith, a position they have held since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Zillow as a Senior Manager for Operations Engineering and Planning from 2019 to 2022, and as a Senior Program Manager from 2019 to 2021. Before Zillow, Joshua was a Senior Program Manager at Amazon from 2019 to 2019.

In 2015, Joshua joined Blue Apron as a Manager of Operations Engineering, where they eventually rose to the position of Director of Operations Engineering in 2018. In this role, they led a team responsible for designing and implementing efficient fulfillment and manufacturing centers and operationalizing new products.

Before Blue Apron, Joshua worked at Tesla Motors as a Material Flow Engineer from 2013 to 2015 and at BP as a Supply Chain Analyst from 2011 to 2013. Joshua also gained experience as a Flow Operator/Traffic Engineer Intern at the Washington State Department of Transportation from 2010 to 2012 and as a Utility Planning and Engineering Intern at R.W. Beck in 2009.

Joshua Smith completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of Washington from 2006 to 2010. Joshua then pursued further education at the same institution, obtaining a Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Transportation Engineering and Global Trade, Transportation, and Logistics from 2010 to 2011.
