Nashad Emir has a long and varied career in the corporate world. Nashad began in 1990 as General Manager of the Quality and Reliability Division at Sony Electronics. In 1994, they moved to PRITCHETT, LP, where they were Director of Consulting and Training. In 1999, they joined Iomega as Director of Six Sigma Asia and Master Black Belt. In 2000, they became President and Managing Director of GE Engine Services Malaysia and Plant General Manager and Six Sigma Master Black Belt. In 2003, they joined GE as Managing Director of GE Plastics, President Director and Country GM of GE Consumer and Industrial, and Quality Director for the Asia Pacific Region. In 2007, they were Managing Director of Drakar Philippines Inc. In 2009, they joined Axiata as Chief Operating Officer of the e.co Group, Chief Programme and Customer Experience Officer at Celcom Axiata Berhad, and Chief Operating Officer of Hello Axiata Company Limited (HACL). Finally, in 2016, they became Chief Customer Experience Officer at PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk.
Nashad Emir began their education in 1981, earning a Bachelor of Science in Production Engineering from Coventry University in 1985. Ten years later, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the University of Hull in 1997. In 2018 and 2019, they completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Business Management in collaboration with MIT and Columbia Business School, and a Certificate in Value Investing from Columbia Business School, respectively. Nashad also holds certifications in Rummler-Brache Process Improvement Methodology from PRITCHETT, LP, Six Sigma Master Black Belt from General Electric and Sony Corp., and Merger and Acquisition Integration from PRITCHETT, LP.
