Julie Deaugustine

Julie DeAugustine currently serves as the Center Director at Pride Learning Centers, a position held since February 2009, where an emphasis is placed on working directly with students to foster confidence and happiness in reading. Prior experience includes roles as a substitute teacher for Redondo Beach USD, Torrance USD, and Palos Verdes USD from October 2007 to September 2010, covering grades pre-K through 8, including special education classes. Between September 2001 and June 2007, Julie was a dedicated elementary school teacher at Los Angeles Unified School District, focusing on grades 1 through 3. Julie holds a B.A. in English Literature from California State University-Dominguez Hills, completed in 2004, and attended Sonoma State University from 1996 to 1998.
