Federico Bassetto

Federico Bassetto is a Senior ML Engineer at Prima since March 2022, previously serving as an ML Engineer at Axyon AI from August 2019 to March 2022. Notable experiences include a tenure as a Machine Learning Engineer and Project Intern at Axyon AI, where contributions focused on AI-driven portfolio management. A visiting scholar at Zhejiang University in early 2019, Bassetto developed deep reinforcement learning techniques for an autonomous robot, attaining 2nd place in a prestigious competition. Other roles include an Inkompass Intern at Philip Morris International, where a predictive maintenance project was successfully implemented, and participation in the Icaro "Giardino delle imprese" initiative at Fondazione Golinelli to apply Design Thinking in solving business challenges. Bassetto holds a Laurea Magistrale in Automation Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in the same field from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, as well as a year at Tongji University.
