Steve Hawken

Steve Hawken is a seasoned visual effects professional with extensive experience in compositing and leading teams across various high-profile projects. Currently serving as Director and Co-owner at Primary Visual Effects since April 2019, Steve brings a wealth of expertise garnered from previous roles including Senior Compositor positions at BDH, NINETEEN-TWENTY LTD, Moonraker VFX, and Aardman Animations. Notably, Steve contributed as Lead Compositor on major films at Sony Pictures Imageworks, working on titles such as "Ghostbusters" and "Alice Through the Looking Glass." Education includes a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design from Swansea Institute of Higher Education and multiple qualifications in illustration and design from esteemed institutions.
