Laura Simone

Vice President, Scientific Affairs at PRIME Education

Laura Simone has a strong background in scientific affairs and educational strategy. Laura began their career as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Nebraska Medical Center from July 2011 to August 2013. Laura then worked as a Grant Development Specialist at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from September 2013 to June 2014. Since January 2015, Laura has been with PRIME Education, where they have held various roles, including Senior Clinical Lead, Executive Director of Scientific Affairs, and currently Vice President of Scientific Affairs. In their current role, they oversee educational strategy design, grant development, and content development for inflammatory, respiratory, and infectious disease programs. Laura also contributes to scientific posters, podium presentations, and journal articles.

Laura Simone completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology at Truman State University from 2001 to 2005. Laura then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Cancer Research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, from 2006 to 2011.
