Desislava Zaharieva

Desislava Zaharieva has a strong work experience in the technology industry. Desislava started their career in 2007 as a Software Developer at Kodar Ltd. Desislava then worked at Blogtronix as an ASP.NET developer for a year before joining SBTech in 2010. At SBTech, they held various roles including Software Developer, Team Leader, and Product Development Team Leader. In 2015, Desislava joined Programista; JSC as their CTO and later moved to Prime Holding JSC in 2017. At Prime Holding JSC, they served as the VP Engineering, Senior Vice President Of Technology, and currently holds the position of Chief Technology Officer.

Desislava Zaharieva holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski", which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Economics from the same university, studying from 2007 to 2009. Their undergraduate studies were also completed at the University of Plovdiv "Paisii Hilendarski", where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from 2003 to 2007. Desislava Zaharieva has also obtained certifications in various areas of leadership and management from the Harvard Business School Online.
