Han Gao

Han Gao has a diverse work experience in the legal field and research. Most recently, they are serving as the Director of Intellectual Property and Legal Affairs at Prime Medicine, Inc. Han joined the company in April 2021. Prior to this, Han worked as an Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati from July 2018 to April 2021. Han also had a brief stint as a Law Clerk awaiting New York State Admission at Duane Morris LLP in June and July 2018.

Before their legal career, Han worked at Vedder Price as a Law Clerk awaiting NY State Admission from February 2016 to May 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Summer Associate at Vedder Price from June 2016 to August 2016. Prior to that, Han gained experience as a Patent Fellow at the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston from June 2015 to August 2015.

Han's earliest work experience was at Iowa State University, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant from March 2009 to August 2014. Their research focused on carbon utilization and bio-energy production in green algae, utilizing targeted gene activation technology.

Han Gao has an extensive education history that includes degrees in various fields. In 2014, Han attended the Boston University School of Law and earned a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2014, Han pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at Iowa State University, emphasizing in Genetics. Han's academic journey began at Fudan University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology, General, from 2001 to 2005.
