Shukun Yang has diverse work experience in various scientific roles. In 2023, Shukun worked as a Scientist I, Oligonucleotide Chemistry at Prime Medicine, Inc. Prior to that, from 2017 to 2023, Shukun held multiple positions at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, including Graduate Teaching Assistant, Safety Officer, and Graduate Research Assistant. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, Shukun taught and guided undergraduate students in experimental microbiology, biochemistry, and molecular and cellular biology.
