Hayder Al-Darraji is an experienced professional with a background in public relations and performance oversight in the oil sector. Currently serving as the Chair of the Board of Directors in a self-employed capacity since February 2017, Hayder also operates as an Inspector in the Ministry of Oil, responsible for overseeing the performance of public oil companies. Additionally, Hayder has held various roles in public relations since October 2012, including as Head of Public Relations for National Reconciliation in Iraq and earlier positions within the Prime Minister's Office. Hayder holds a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering Technology from Southern Technical University, earned between 2004 and 2009.
