Lucy Smeets

Lucy Smeets is a Robotics Engineer at Prime Vision since October 2022, having previously served as a Graduate Intern at the same company, where a mathematical model using max-plus algebra was developed for robotic sorting systems as part of a master thesis in Systems and Control. Lucy's experience includes supporting startups at YES!Delft, working as a Mathematics Teacher at LeraarLink, and serving as a Suspension Engineer for Delft Hyperloop, where involvement in the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition occurred. Additionally, Lucy has held roles in customer service as a waitress and as a Teaching Assistant for first-year students in Calculus at TU Delft. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Systems & Control and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics, both obtained from Delft University of Technology.
