Shivantha Wijesinghe (Shiva)

Shivantha Wijesinghe, also known as Shiva, has a diverse work experience. Shivantha is currently working as the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis at PRIMED Medical Products Inc. starting from May 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Financial Analyst at TELUS from November 2020 to April 2022. Shiva also held the position of Manager of Financial Analysis at the Department of Economic Development, Government of Dubai from June 2017 to August 2020. Before that, they worked as the Manager of Strategy & Finance at Dubai First from May 2014 to May 2017. Shiva began their career as an Associate in Corporate Finance at PwC from March 2013 to April 2014.

Shivantha Wijesinghe (Shiva) has a diverse education history that spans various fields of study. In 2011 to 2014, Shiva attended ACCA and focused on accounting and finance. In 2015 to 2018, Shiva pursued Investments and Securities at CFA Institute. In the same year, Shiva also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Oxford Brookes University. In 2016, Shiva studied Investments and Securities at The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI). In 2018, Shiva engaged with Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada), although the specific degree and field of study are not mentioned. Shiva then proceeded to earn a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Strategy from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2019 to 2020.

Currently, in 2022, Shiva is attending the Institute for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Alliances (IMAA) to pursue an International Mergers & Acquisitions Expert (IM&A) degree with a focus on M&A process, strategy, deal types, hostile takeovers, due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration. Additionally, Shiva has plans to attend the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka in the near future to further their knowledge in accounting and finance.
