Duo Zhang (Carina)

Duo (Carina) Zhang is a Scientist III at Primera Analytical Solutions Corporation since November 2022, specializing in the analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods in accordance with GLP regulations. Previously, as a Senior Scientist I at Accuredit Therapeutics from March 2022 to October 2022, Duo led projects focused on lipid nanoparticle-encapsulated RNA drugs and conducted methodology development for quantification of sgRNA and Cas9mRNA from blood samples. Duo's early career involved serving as a Research Assistant Graduate Student at the University of Iowa from August 2016 to March 2022, where methodologies were developed for the extraction and quantification of PCB sulfates in human serum, as part of the Iowa Superfund Research Program. Duo earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Toxicology in December 2021 and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in December 2015, both from the University of Iowa.
