Madeline Harmes has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. Madeline began their career as a Materials Science Summer Institute intern at Drexel University in 2017, where they conducted experiments on different materials for solar energy applications. In 2018, they interned at Pyrotek Special Effects Inc., where they designed and improved pyrotechnic systems for concerts.

In 2019, Madeline worked as a BioMagnetics Lab Assistant at Drexel University, where they conducted research in biomagnetics for less-invasive brain surgery. Madeline also had a Controls Engineering Co-op position at B. Braun Medical, where they assisted in controls and SCADA/MES data collection upgrades and testing.

In 2020, Madeline secured an Electrical Engineering Co-op position at Primera Engineers, where they designed and updated power distribution systems. Madeline also worked as a Technical Intern at Sierra Nevada Corporation in 2021, where they gained experience in RF communication testing in the defense field.

In 2022, Madeline joined Electric Power Engineers as a Power Systems Engineer I before transitioning to their current role as an Electrical Engineer at Primera Engineers. Madeline Harmes attended Warwick High School from 2013 to 2017. Madeline then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering and Electrical Engineering at Drexel University from 2017 to 2022.
