Buchi Nwosu has a diverse work experience in the financial industry, with a focus on process improvement and digital transformation. They have held various leadership roles at Primera Microfinance Bank Limited and Ecobank Transnational Incorporated. At Primera Microfinance Bank Limited, Buchi currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer, overseeing the bank's digital transformation efforts and ensuring the achievement of strategic goals. At Ecobank Transnational Incorporated, Buchi held roles such as Head of the Business Process Reengineering Department and Business Continuity Manager, where they were responsible for identifying inefficiencies, proposing improvements, and implementing initiatives to increase operational efficiency. Prior to that, Buchi worked at Oceanic Bank as the Head of Continuous Process Improvement and as a Business Process Analyst. They also gained early work experience as a Trainee Analyst at Don Mitchell & Co. Ltd, a consulting company specializing in profit improvement and re-engineering solutions. Buchi holds certifications in CBAP, CCMP, PMP, and ICP-APM, highlighting their expertise in business analysis, project management, and agile methodologies.

Buchi Nwosu has a diverse education history, spanning from 1995 to 2022. In 1999, Buchi Nwosu obtained a Bsc in Geology from Nnamdi Azikiwe University. In 2008, Buchi Nwosu completed a Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) in Strategic Management from Strategic Business School. In 2020, Buchi Nwosu earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Strategic Management and Leadership from European-American University. Continuing their education, Buchi Nwosu participated in the Senior Management Programme (SMP) at Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University in 2022.

In addition to their academic achievements, Buchi Nwosu holds various certifications. In 2012, they obtained the Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) certification from the International Institute of Business Analysis. The following year, in 2013, Buchi Nwosu earned the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from the International Association for Six Sigma Certification. In 2014, they obtained the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in Service Strategy from PEOPLECERT and the ITIL certification from EXIN. Moving on to 2015, Buchi Nwosu became a Certified ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer, certified by the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB).

Continuing their pursuit of professional development, Buchi Nwosu obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in 2016. In 2017, they became a Certified ISO 22301 Lead Implementer through PECB. Buchi Nwosu earned the Prosci® Certified Change Practitioner certification, delivered by Afrissance, and the Certified Change Management Practitioner certification from Prosci in 2018.
