Ana Thomas

Ana Thomas has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Ana started their career as a Scientific researcher at the Horia Hulubei National Institute of Physics and Nuclear Engineering, where they worked for 17 years. Following this, they worked as an AutoCAD Mechanical Drafter at Bosch Rexroth for a brief period.

In 2005, Ana joined The Shaw Group as a Substation Designer, where they were involved in designing modifications for various substations across different locations. After three years, they moved to Pike Corporation as a Substation Senior Designer, where they were responsible for the physical design of high voltage substations and drafting using AutoCAD.

From 2018 to 2023, Ana worked at Mott MacDonald, initially starting as a Project Engineer/Manager and later transitioning to the role of Project Manager. Their responsibilities included overseeing project schedules, coordinating with utility personnel and manufacturers, and ensuring projects remained on schedule and budget.

Most recently, Ana joined Primoris Services Corporation in 2023 as a Senior Program Manager, where they handled various projects. Ana then transitioned to the role of Director of Commercial Development - Preconstruction Services in January 2024.

Throughout their career, Ana has gained extensive experience in project management, design, and coordination in the fields of engineering and construction.

Ana Thomas received their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrotechnics from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, where they studied from 1986 to 1993. In 2000 and 2001, they attended Autodesk - Authorized Training Center to study AutoCAD, but did not receive a degree.
