Dr. Michelle Chapman-Campbell

Dr. Michelle Chapman-Campbell currently serves as the Manager of the Spiritual Care Department at UVA Community Health System and the Manager of Spiritual Care, Chaplaincy Services at Novant Health UVA Health System, roles held since July 2021 and June 2020, respectively. With extensive experience as a Chaplain since 2014, Dr. Michelle has facilitated supportive services for case managers, medical staff, families, and patients, while also developing clinical support groups for Behavioral Health and Substance Rehabilitation. Previous positions include Hospice Chaplain at Compassus Hospice and Palliative Care and Optum Palliative and Hospice Care, where collaboration with interdisciplinary teams was essential for integrating spiritual care into medical plans. Dr. Michelle holds multiple degrees, including a Doctor of Ministry from Virginia Union University and a Master of Science in Clinical Pastoral Counseling from Virginia Commonwealth University.
