Kelly Roche has extensive experience in aquaculture and fisheries, currently serving as Fish Culturist I at Prince William Sound Aquaculture Corporation since February 2020, focusing on the cultivation and release of salmon species for sustainable fisheries enhancement. Previously, Kelly held positions as Fisheries Technician III at the same organization, where responsibilities included rearing chum salmon fry and conducting hatchery maintenance. Prior experience includes research roles at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies and the Environmental Defense Fund, where insights on aquaculture governance and seaweed farming were developed. Previous field experience as a North Pacific Groundfish Observer involved data collection in the Bering Sea, and additional experience includes vendor work in organic agriculture. Kelly holds a Master of Arts in International Environmental Policy from the Middlebury Institute and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Colby College.
