Christopher Galea

Christopher Galea is a Research Scientist at Princeton Satellite Systems since August 2021, previously serving as a PhD Candidate at Princeton University from August 2016 to July 2021. During a brief tenure as an Optical Engineer Research Intern at Facebook in 2020, Christopher gained valuable industry experience. Earlier roles include a SuperUROP Research Assistant at the MIT Gas Turbine Laboratory, where research focused on droplet heating and vaporization, and a Research Intern at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Christopher also contributed as a SAT II Physics Tutor through the MIT Academic Teaching Initiative and worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the MIT Plasma Science and Fusion Center. Additionally, Christopher interned at Princeton Satellite Systems and Burns and Roe. Educational credentials include a Ph.D. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University and a Bachelor's Degree in Aerospace Engineering and Physics from MIT.
