Marly Verest

Marly Verest is a skilled product developer currently employed at Prinsen Berning since January 2023, with previous experience as an application technologist at PeelPioneers, where research focused on utilizing fiber from orange peels in meat substitutes. Marly's background includes a trainee role as a product and process technologist at Refresco, where exposure to QESH operations and involvement in various projects occurred, as well as an internship in quality assurance to gain insights into the food industry. Prior roles include working in care and wellness, providing support to residents, and responsibilities in housekeeping and kitchen services. Marly holds a Master of Science in Food Technology with a focus on Ingredient Functionality and Product Design, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, both from Wageningen University & Research. Educational foundations were laid at Varendonck College, focusing on nature and health.
