Douglas Mason

Douglas Mason is an experienced meteorologist and trader currently serving as Interim Head and Quantitative Trader at FlexPower since January 2023. Since August 2019, Douglas has been a Meteorologist and Intraday Trader at Priogen Energy. Prior experience includes roles at MetService as an Operational Meteorologist in Commercial Weather Services and various specialized meteorological positions within marine and aviation weather services. Douglas possesses a strong foundation in meteorological forecasting, complemented by a Post Graduate Diploma in Meteorology from Victoria University of Wellington and ongoing advanced studies in Physics at The University of Auckland. Douglas has also conducted research in fog climatology using Python.
