Andu Fratu

Andu Fratu has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and programming. Andu started their career at ITLand Multimedia in 2007 as a PHP Programmer, where they were responsible for database design and PHP programming for the company's e-commerce, CMS, and application projects. Andu also set up the final product solutions on client web servers. In 2010, Andu joined Machteamsoft as a PHP Programmer, where their responsibilities included developing company websites and implementing new features using PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL. Andu also used the Mercurial source control tool and worked with Lucene/Solr search engine. Andu then worked at Tuenti from 2011 to 2015 as a Senior Software Engineer, primarily focusing on developing new features for Tuenti's Android app and improving the overall Android architecture. Andu also provided support for chat clients on different platforms. Currently, Andu is the CTO and Co-Founder of Prior, a company focused on developing B2B solutions in the restaurant sector. Their role involves creating white label solutions for major chains in Spain, enabling end-customers to place orders and pay for their food for pickup or delivery.

Andu Fratu completed their Bachelor's Degree in Automatic Control and System Engineering from the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Colegiul Dobrogean "Spiru Haret" for their high school education from 2001 to 2005 with a focus on Informatics.

In terms of additional certifications, Andu Fratu obtained the Zend Certified Engineer PHP 5.3 certification from Zend in April 2012. Andu also completed various programming courses through Coursera Verified Certificates, including Programming Mobile Applications for Android Handheld Systems in March 2014, Pattern-Oriented Software Architectures: Programming Mobile Services for Android Handheld Systems in July 2014, Programming Cloud Services for Android Handheld Systems in September 2014, and Programming Languages in December 2014.
