Ruth Oldja

Ruth Oldja has a diverse work experience starting in 2015 as a Greenhouse Laborer and Assistant Supervisor at Green Circle Growers. Ruth supervised crews, maintained safe operations, and processed shipping orders. In 2016, they became a Caregiver at Grand Living, where they provided care for elderly individuals. Ruth then worked at Lorain County Community College as a Computer Science Tutor and later as a Supplemental Instructor, aiding students in understanding course material and preparing for tests. In 2019, Ruth joined Foundation Software as a Web Development Intern and later as a Jr. Applications Developer, using various technologies to build modern web applications. Most recently, they started working as a Software Engineer at Rhyme (formerly PriorAuthNow) in 2021.

Ruth Oldja began their education journey in 2016 at Lorain County Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Applied Business degree in Software Development. Ruth completed their studies in 2019. Building on their foundational knowledge, Ruth then enrolled at Franklin University in 2020 to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science. Ruth is expected to complete their degree in 2025. Additionally, Ruth obtained two certifications from Microsoft: Microsoft Azure Developer Associate in October 2021 and Microsoft Azure Fundamentals in August 2021.
