Karl Kerem has worked in various roles since 2005. Karl began their career as the Founder and Head of Operations at ÕF Pulk, a student company that won numerous competitions and generated the highest ever profit margin in the history of Student Company program in Estonia. Karl then worked as a Facilitator at Star Horizon Learning Pte Ltd in 2009 and as an IT Intern at Silberauto AS in 2008. In 2008, they also worked as a Junior System Developer at the Estonian Qualifications Authority where they developed and implemented a stand-alone online information system. In 2007, they worked as an Active Salesperson and Project Manager at SalesForce OÜ, where they negotiated terms and conditions with center managements and lead sales teams. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at Credit Suisse as a Technical Analyst, where they helped to analyse and solve design issues raised by departmental and program architects. Karl also maintained and developed web solutions for presenting the bank's logical target state design and for tracking & coordinating design issues. From 2017 to present, Karl Kerem has worked at PrismFP, where they have held roles as the Estonia Branch Manager, Head of Operations Technology, and Software Engineer.
Karl Kerem has a varied educational background. Karl attended Gustav Adolf Grammar School from 1995 to 2007. Karl then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Technology at Tallinn University of Technology from 2007 to 2011. In 2009 and 2010, they participated in the DUO Exchange Program at the National University of Singapore, studying Computer Science and Information Systems. Finally, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) in Advanced Computer Science and IT Management from The University of Manchester in 2012 and 2013.
