Kelly Hester

Kelly Hester is a highly experienced translational research scientist and business owner with a robust background in analyzing diagnostic assays and biomarkers for therapeutic applications, particularly in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Currently serving as a Research Program Manager at the Proteogenomics Research Institute for Systems Medicine since September 2021, Kelly also operates Pearline's Apothecary since September 2018. Previous roles include Principal Scientist at Triphase Accelerator Corporation, Senior Scientist at Prometheus Laboratories Inc., and various scientific positions at Genzyme Diagnostics, Life Technologies, and Anaphore, Inc. Additionally, Kelly has experience as an Adjunct Professor at San Diego State University and has conducted extensive postdoctoral research at the University of California. Kelly holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from UC San Diego and additional degrees in Cellular and Molecular Biology and Biology from the University of Michigan and Oakwood University, respectively.
