Andy Whitworth

Andy Whitworth possesses extensive expertise in the aerospace and defense sector, with a career spanning over three decades at BAE Systems and its subsidiaries. Currently serving as General Manager at Prismatic Ltd., Andy is tasked with developing a new facility for the organization. Previously, at BAE Systems Air, Andy held key positions including Head of Manufacturing Operations, which supported critical projects such as Tempest, and led manufacturing integration efforts for the Future Combat Air System. Other notable roles include overseeing export control compliance for various military aircraft programs and managing project operations for the Typhoon program. Andy began the career in Saudi Arabia, providing engineering support and training for the Royal Saudi Air Force. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Technology and diplomas in Innovation & Design and Systems Practice, all obtained from The Open University.
