Head of Marketing at Privado

Hernando Buitrago has a wealth of experience in marketing and communications. Hernando began their career in 2010 as a MusicianCorps Fellow at Music National Service. In 2013, they took on the role of Visual Director at SF Offside Festival, and also worked as a Marketing and PR Associate at San Francisco Friends of Chamber Music. In 2014, they were a Digital Marketing Strategy Intern at Beneficial State Foundation, and a Marketing Manager, Brand Development and Demand Generation at HIP Investor. From 2015 to 2018, they worked at Realm Inc., first as a Senior Manager, Demand Generation and then as a Marketing Manager, Demand Generation. In 2021, they joined Instabug as VP of Marketing, and currently serves as Head of Marketing at Privado.ai.

Hernando Buitrago received their Bachelor's degree from Berklee College of Music in 2007, majoring in Professional Music. Hernando then went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Mills College, Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business, which they completed in 2015 with a focus on Marketing. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications, Implementing a Privacy, Risk, and Assurance Program from LinkedIn in October 2022, and ABM Certification: Foundations from Demandbase in December 2017.
