Greg Farries

Greg Farries has over 18 years of experience in web development and communications consulting. Greg began their career in 2000 as Web Project Director for Maple Leaf Web and Policy.ca at The University of Lethbridge, where they managed the entire operation of the projects and provided leadership, direction and management of a diverse team of editors, writers, researchers, moderators and interns. Greg also oversaw all budgetary and financial reporting to project partners and funding organizations. In 2002, they founded Interstrategy Inc., a successful website development and communications consulting agency that provides services to a wide range of businesses, non-profits and governments. In 2010, they founded Civic Squared, a specialized web development product tailored to the municipal market. Greg created and developed unique content and design frameworks, specifically designed for the municipal market, that improved the efficiency and drastically lowered the cost of development. In 2019, they founded Privatenode LLC.

Greg Farries obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from The University of Lethbridge between 1995 and 2000. Greg then went on to earn a Master's Degree in the same field from The University of Lethbridge between 2000 and 2005. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Blockchain: Foundations and Use Cases, Search Engine Optimization Fundamentals, and Introduction to Search Engine Optimization from Coursera. In April 2022, they obtained a Certified Keap Partner certification from Keap.
