Sara Moloney

Sara Moloney has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Sara started their career as a Staff Auditor at Arthur Andersen & Co., where they performed audit field work for various industries and made recommendations for operational and control improvements. Sara then joined The Carlyle Group, initially as a Senior Accountant in Equity Management and later as a Manager in the same department. During their time at The Carlyle Group, they oversaw the general ledger and tax compliance process for long-term incentive programs and represented the Equity Management team on technology initiatives. Sara also administered the carried interest reserve program. Most recently, Sara worked as an Accounting Director at Privia Health.

Sara Moloney completed a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) with a major in Accounting from Georgetown University. Sara also attended St. Ignatius College Prep, although the degree name and field of study are not specified. In addition to their formal education, Sara Moloney obtained several certifications, including a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace Certificate from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education in May 2021, a Setting up Finance & Accounting for Success as a Public Company Certificate from BlackLine in May 2021, and they hold an inactive Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the District of Columbia Board of Accountancy.
