Rachael Franklin

Rachael Franklin is an experienced Gifted Specialist currently employed by the Vestavia Hills Board of Education since August 2018 and previously served in a similar role at the Jefferson County Board of Education from July 2016 to June 2018. In addition, Rachael has experience as a Psychometrist/Field Examiner with PRO-ED, Inc. since June 2017 and worked as an English Teacher at the St. Clair County Board of Education from August 2012 to May 2015. Rachael's academic background includes a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where studies are ongoing from August 2022 to August 2025. Rachael also holds an Educational Specialist in Special Education - Gifted from The University of Alabama and a Master of Education in Secondary Education from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Rachael’s educational journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English and an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from Jefferson State Community College.
