Lewis Rickards

Lewis Rickards has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Lewis is currently working as a Player Liaison + Coach at Pro Football Academy, where they are responsible for addressing any concerns of parents/guardians, coaching players, and delivering the academy's coaching syllabus. Prior to this, Lewis worked as a Duty Manager at The Gasworks Brew Bar, overseeing a team of up to 10 staff members and assisting the Head Brewer with brewing signature beers. Lewis also served as a Volunteer Football Coach for the Coach Hene Memorial Foundation, leading coaching sessions for children of all abilities and focusing on development and strength and conditioning. Lewis has experience as a Football Coach for Fletcher Moss Rangers and as an Academy Scout for Wigan Athletic F.C., where they scouted and identified new football talent for the club's academy. Additionally, they worked as a Bartender for Venue Catering Partner ltd, an Intern Academy Performance Analyst for Accrington Stanley Football Club Ltd, and a Temporary Administrator for Amey. Lewis also has customer service experience as a Payments and Refunds Advisor at IKEA and a Universal Advisor at Fusion Contact Centre Services Limited.

Lewis Rickards completed their education in the field of sports and coaching. From 2017 to 2020, they attended UCFB where they obtained a degree in Sports Business and Coaching, specializing in Sports Studies. Following that, they pursued further education at The University of Salford from 2020 to 2021, graduating with an MSc in Strength and Conditioning.

In addition to their academic achievements, Lewis Rickards has obtained several certifications. Lewis completed the FA Coaching Level 2 and the FA Talent ID Level 2 courses from The Football Association in April 2022. Lewis also holds certifications in FA Coaching Level 1, FA Futsal Course Level 1, FA Youth Module Level 1, InStats Level 1 from STATS LLC, and Level 1 in both Opposition Analysis and Talent Identification in Football from The Professional Football Scouts Association. Although the exact dates of completion for the latter certifications are not provided, it can be assumed that they were obtained at some point in their educational and professional journey.
