Patrick Dörig

Phuoc Do is a dedicated academic and research professional currently serving as a Teaching Assistant for CICS 210 - Data Structures at the Manning College of Information and Computer Sciences, UMass Amherst, and as a Research Assistant at WSSLab. Previously, Phuoc worked as an Undergraduate Course Assistant for CS389 - Introduction to Machine Learning and interned at The Feinstein Institutes, where significant contributions were made in deep learning research by preprocessing 3D FDG-PET images and developing a CNN model that exceeded conventional methods by 17% in accuracy. Phuoc is pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, building on a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science earned from the same institution.
