Olivier Kruger has a diverse range of work experience. In 2018, they worked as a CFO-as-a-service for impact at Olivier Kruger. In 2023, they became the Chief Fundraising Officer at Yoni. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at The Social Handshake, a fintech startup focused on promoting sustainability and social responsibility. Olivier also held the role of Chief Fundraising Officer at Pro Parents, a social enterprise supporting young parents in high-performance environments. In 2020, Olivier co-founded VoorDeThuiswerkers, a platform providing quiet workplace options for home workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Strategy Consultant at SparkOptimus and as a Startup Banker at Amsterdam Venture Partners. Olivier also participated in an entrepreneurial program called FRAEMd at Rockstart and worked as an Analyst in Corporate and Investment Banking at Citi. Olivier Kruger has a varied education history. Olivier obtained a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Groningen. Prior to that, they completed propaedeutics in Industrial Engineering and Management at the same university. Olivier also participated in a program called Your Lab, where they studied Personal Leadership.

Before attending the University of Groningen, Olivier attended Lorentz Casimir Lyceum, where they earned an Atheneum degree with a profile in Science & Technology, IT, and Economics. During their primary education, Olivier attended international schools in Oman and Norway.

In addition to their formal education, Olivier has obtained various certifications. Olivier completed a 10-day silence retreat on the Vipassana Meditation technique offered by Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka. Olivier also completed a course on Entrepreneurship in Emerging Economies offered by HarvardX. Furthermore, Olivier obtained certifications in Venture Deals from Kauffman Fellows and Techstars, as well as a course on The Lean Startup from Lean Startup Machine.
