Edward Lewis Rand Jr.

Edward Lewis Rand Jr. is the President, Chief Operating Officer and President of Medmarc Insurance Group at ProAssurance. Prior to joining ProAssurance, they were a Partner at PartnerRe from January 2001 to November 2004, where they served as Chief Accounting Officer. From January 1997 to December 2000, Rand was the CFO at Atlantic American. Edward started their career as Controller at United Capitol Insurance from January 1992 to December 1997. Rand is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce.

Edward Lewis Rand Jr. completed their undergraduate degree at Davidson College, where they studied economics.
