Matthew Smith

Matthew Smith has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matthew is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Business Operations at Probst Electric Inc. since September 2023. Prior to this, they were the President of Track Utilities, LLC from December 2021 to September 2023. From February 2020 to December 2021, they served as the Executive Vice President of Operations and Safety at Peak Utility Services Group. Matthew also worked at SiteWise LLC as the Director of Safety, Quality, and Training from September 2017 to February 2020. Before that, they held multiple roles at SiteWise LLC, including Training Manager, Safety Coordinator, and Gas Meter Technician. Matthew began their career in the US Army, where they served as an Emergency Room Shift Leader, CSH Wardmaster, and Infantry Team Leader from 2002 to 2010. Additionally, Matthew worked as a Fabricator/Welder at Stainless Steel Structures LLC from May 2014 to January 2015.

Matthew Smith earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering Technology from Northwestern State University between 2011 and 2014. Matthew also obtained a certification as a Specialist of Safety and Health in Oil and Gas from The University of Texas at Arlington in April 2015.
