Danijal Topcic

Danijal Topcic is an experienced professional in the field of molecular cell biology and biotechnology, currently serving as the MSAT/Process Development Manager at Procella Therapeutics AB since February 2019. In this role, Danijal manages the transfer of scientific and technical knowledge necessary for the production of regenerative therapies for Phase I Clinical Studies. Earlier positions at Procella Therapeutics included Senior Scientist and Scientist, where Danijal focused on developing efficient processes for stem cell-based therapies and aimed to make these treatments accessible globally through a collaboration with AstraZeneca. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Researcher/Manager at Karolinska Institutet, a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Ludwig Cancer Research, and a Researcher at Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, contributing to significant advancements in cancer research and therapeutic development. Danijal holds a PhD from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Science with Honours from Victoria University.
