Sonja Siekkinen

Sonja Siekkinen has a diverse work experience, starting from 2014. Sonja began their career as a Product Demonstrator at Pohjanmaan Tiilirakenne Oy in 2014. Sonja then worked as a Communications Trainee at Valamis in 2017, where they created content, updated social media channels, and assisted in marketing and HR tasks.

In 2018, Sonja worked as a Media Assistant at Sitefactory, where they designed and built websites for customers, performed graphic design tasks, and created content for websites.

From 2019 to 2020, they were a Copywriter Trainee at atFlow Oy, where they gained experience in content creation. Sonja then worked as a Freelance Marketing & UI Design professional in 2020.

Sonja joined atFlow Oy in 2020 as a Marketing Coordinator, responsible for managing digital marketing, developing strategic plans, and consulting with clients. Sonja also worked as a UX Designer, designing and building websites for customers, conducting usability testing, and managing digital marketing.

Sonja's work experience also includes a role as a Housekeeper at Lietsu Boutique Aparthotel in 2022.

In 2022, they joined Smartum Oy as a Content Specialist, where they worked as a content creator and digital marketing specialist for business customers, managing digital marketing and creating content.

Currently, Sonja works as a Digital Marketing Specialist at PAIKKA, where they manage digital marketing strategies, creates content for social media platforms, and designs and builds new webstores using Shopify.

In 2023, they will join Process Genius Oy as a Digital Marketing Specialist.

From 2018 to 2020, they attended the University of Eastern Finland, where they obtained a Master's degree in media culture and communications, specializing in Media Culture and Communication Studies.

Between 2014 and 2017, they studied at Karelia University of Applied Sciences and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Media, focusing on Communication and Media Studies.

From 2010 to 2013, they attended Joensuun lyseon lukio, completing their high school education and the IB Diploma Programme.

Lastly, from 2007 to 2010, they attended Lyseon peruskoulu in Joensuu, completing their Junior High School education.
