Nicolò Rubino

Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently employed at SMART Technologies since July 2010, contributing to the development of hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and other educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Prior to this role, Chris served as a Firmware Engineer at the same company, where responsibilities included developing firmware and diagnostic tools for various educational technologies. Earlier experience includes working as an Electronics Contractor for the Science Alberta Foundation, designing and repairing educational devices, and serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, where Chris supported student labs and assessments. Chris began the career as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, focusing on control systems for the forestry industry. Chris holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
