Shauna Turnbull

Shauna Turnbull serves as the English Department Chair at Proctor Academy since July 2008, where responsibilities include advancing a diverse curriculum, supporting colleagues, and fostering a love for literature among students. Previously held the role of English Department Chair and English Teacher at Kents Hill School, teaching various literature courses and developing interdisciplinary studies focused on environmental awareness. Additionally, Shauna has experience as a whitewater rafting guide and has contributed to fundraising efforts through a direct mail campaign that exceeded goals. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in English from Middlebury College and a Bachelor's degree in English from Colgate University.
